Did smog block off plates and removed steering damper to get to plate bolts easier and now i m having a hard time routing the two throttle cables under that.

Loosen the throttle cables as much as possible to make it easier to remove the bad cables.
I tried routing them through the right side behind the right rearset and things seem to fit nicely.

Undo the bar end slider and then the 2 3 machine screws on the kill switch assembly 2 long ones and probably one holding a throttle cable unhook the throttle wires and slide the throttle tube off.
From looking at the picture i thought the cables may have been routed through the left side of the bike but i guess i was mistaken.
3 clutch cable c route the right handlebar switch lead in front of the front fork inner 4 starter cable tube.

Spec cable routing eb206000 cable routing 1 throttle cables a install the headlight relays onto the headlight housing bridge.
1 throttle cable return side 2 throttle cable pull side 3 starter motor lead.
In order to change out the throttle cable throttle tube or handlebar grips you must take apart the kill switch assembly on the right handlebar.

In the 98 manual the cable routing diagram is on page 58 2 38 i believe.
J clamp the clutch cable by routing the upper end of the clamp along with the bottom end of the hose clamp assembly.
